Call for expression of interest
Organization of the 12th ECINEQ Conference
Summer 2027

 

ECINEQ invites members and academic/research institutions to submit an expression of interest to host the Twelfth Conference of the Society to be held in 2027. Proposals, accompanied by a formal letter addressed to the ECINEQ President Cecilia García-Peñalosa should be sent by e-mail to the ECINEQ Secretariat (e-mail: info@ecineq.org).

The proposal should contain:
– information about the aims and objectives of the hosting institution;
– evidence of previous experience in organizing academic conferences;
– rationale for hosting the conference;
– a list of the persons that will compose the potential Local Organizing Committee (LOC);
– suggested dates, ideally during the first half of July or the first half of September, taking into consideration potential overlap with other academic conferences of interest for the participants.

 

The ECINEQ Executive Committee will review the proposals and ECINEQ’s Secretariat shall contact
the submitters with the results of the evaluation.

 

Deadline for submission of proposals: January 31, 2026.
Notification of decisions: March 15, 2026.
