ECINEQ Meetings

The Society holds a conference each two years with the aim of promoting the academic debate and the exchange of opinions on inequality, poverty and other topics on distributive issues that are of common interest. Through the conference, ECINEQ contributes to the worldwide dissemination of the results of scholarly works and practical experiences in this field. Only high quality and well advanced papers – concerning either theoretical issues, empirical analyses or the implementation of policies – are selected for presentation during the conference.

The conference is hosted each time by a different institution. The local organizer is in charge of its technical and logistical organization, while the the President-Elect of ECINEQ, with the help of a scientific committee, is in charge of the scientific program of the conference, which involves inviting the keynote speakers and selecting the papers to be presented.

The conference includes three keynote lectures given by eminent scholars and a number of open parallel sessions where the authors of selected papers are invited to present the results of their work.

The Tenth ECINEQ Meeting 2023 will take on JULY 10-12, 2023 in Aix-en-Provence, hosted by the Aix-Marseille School of Economics. More information are available here
