Postdoc fellowships – III-LSE

Postdoc Fellowships
International Inequalities Institute
London School of Economics and Political Science

Applications are open for the inaugural cohort of the postdoctoral programme of the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science. III-LSE is are recruiting for two positions, each of them two years in duration. They are open to scholars with a recently completed PhD (or one nearing completion) in a social science such as – but not restricted to – Economics, Political Science, Sociology or Social Policy.
The programme is intended to provide these scholars with an opportunity to pursue high-quality original research in an inequality-related topic, while collaborating with more established III researchers on existing projects.
Both positions in this first cohort will have an emphasis on quantitative research involving international comparisons. The first position will focus on the measurement and analysis of intergenerational mobility and inequality of opportunity. The second position will focus on cross-country comparative analysis of income or wealth distributions and will be associated with the new UK Satellite Office of the LIS cross-national data centre, which has just been launched at the Institute.

Deadline for applications: January 15, 2022.
